The 2014 Kia Optima can be acquired in the United States starting from $22,300, including destination and handling, the South Korean automaker has announced earlier this week.
For the aforementioned amount, customers will be able to order the LX base model that’s powered by a 200 HP 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, while an extra $2,400 will allow them to take home the EX version, which comes with a navigation system, leather seats, eight-way power driver seat and 17-inch wheels among other features.
The EX can also be fitted with the company’s Premium and Technology packages for $3,150 and $2,000 respectively. Moving on to the SX model, the 2.4-liter can be had starting from $26,050, while the turbocharged 2.0-liter variants will cost at least $28,000.
Lastly, the SX-L, also powered by the turbo mill, starts at $37,100 and sports LED foglamps, 18-inch chrome wheels, red brake calipers, Nappa leather seats and an electronic parking brake. All 2014 Optima models are equipped with six-speed automatic transmissions. Pricing for the Hybrid model has yet to be announced.
