The highly anticipated C-SUV from Jeep is now better equipped than ever for success in Europe. A 5-star crash safety rating has been awarded by Euro NCAP to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, after a severe batch of testing procedures.
The safety body tested a LHD model equipped not with the V6 engine you get in America, but with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel from Fiat.

The Cherokee received 92% for adult occupant protection, thanks to "good" or "adequate" results in all most tests. The SUV also performed well in child occupant protection and pedestrian protection. Its stability control system ensured a 74% result in safety assist.
