Hyundai has just announced changes to the 2014 model year Veloster, which will be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Their innovative 3-door coupe gains a number of innovative touches, but no big cosmetic ones unfortunately.
The standard Veloster models now get daytime running lights, a driver’s blind-spot mirror and a rearview camera, all welcomed features, but also not innovative, since most compacts now have these features.

The 2014 Veloster Turbo against a new Active Sound Design, basically engine sound delivered through the speakers, which provides "richer in-cabin powertrain sound character for an even more involving driving experience, especially during spirited driving."

The same hot Veloster model also has a new Torque Vectoring Control (TVC) system. This uses data collected by wheel speed sensors and applies the brakes on the inside wheel to simulate a limited slip diff.
