As it prepares to launch the next-generation Genesis, South Korean automaker Hyundai has announced a slightly updated version of the current sedan for the 2014 model year in the United States.
New exterior features are limited to standard 18-inch alloy wheels for the 3.8-liter V6 model and a Santiago Silver exterior that replaces the Platinum Metallic. The V6 version also gets upgraded electro-hydraulic power steering, while the 5.0-liter V8 gains a heated steering wheel.
Other updates include free Hyundai Assurance Connected Care telematics services for three years and Safety and Car Care features on vehicles ordered with Blue Link. Pricing for the 2014 Hyundai Genesis will be announced at a later date.
As a reminder, the next-generation Hyundai Genesis is rumored to make its public debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. The all-new vehicle should see a mid-summer market launch for the 2015 model year.
