The 2014 Corvette Stingray will become available in most GM dealers across the United States, the automaker revealed earlier this week.
Initially, the brand new sportscar was sold through only 900 of the company's 3,000 showrooms, which were selected based on their Corvette sales history in the previous year.
However, not all dealers are expected to begin selling the new Corvette, as all those interested to have a 2014 Stingray in their showroom must attend a staff training program at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Nevada.
The event lasts a day and a half and costs $2,000 per participant, Auto Guide reports.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which went on sale this summer, is powered by GM's brand new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that delivers 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The sportscar is able to reach 60 mph from a standing start in 3.8 seconds.
