Are you living in Canada and drooling over the new 2014 Chevrolet SS? That's all you're gonna get, because General Motors is not going to sell the high-performance sedan up north.
It seems like GM doesn't have any explanation for this decision, as Globe and Mail reports, that will most certainly upset more than a few Chevrolet and muscle cars enthusiasts. As a consolation, the 2014 Corvette Stingray will still hit the Canadian showrooms.
Canada is not the only country that won't get the Chevrolet SS, the rear-wheel vehicle being banned in Israel over allegedly nazi related them. Apparently some people managed to establish a ridiculous connection between the SS moniker and the Schutzstaffel World War 2 division.
In other news, the US might get a wagon version of the Chevy SS, a car already previewed by Holden, but according to GM officials the Ute version will not cross the pond from Australia.
Deliveries for the 2014 Chevrolet SS will begin this summer.
