The new BMW F15 X5 will be introducing the rear-wheel-drive SUV to the US this year and will bring a lot of controversy in this segment.
For now we don't want to talk about that, we'll just wait for the first test drive and talk then. However, we can't hide the fact that we're curious about the price tag this car will have.

The cheapest X5 on the US, at least in the first year, will be the sDrive35i that will start at $53,725, including the destination and handling charges. It will have the 3-liter 6-cylinder N55 engine under the bonnet with its usual 300 HP and 400 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque.

The all-wheel-drive version of the same X5, the xDrive35i will start at $56,025 whilst the xDrive35d will start at $57,525 and will wear the 3-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that makes 258 HP and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque.

Last but not least, the US will be receiving the xDrive50i model that starts at $69,125 and will be sporting the upgraded N63 engine with 450 HP and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque.
