Setting new benchmarks isn't easy but the 2014 BMW X5 is yet another trendsetter. The Bavarian company is now offering its clients a whole new set of optional features and combinations for both the interior and the exterior of their SUVs.
The so-called "Design Worlds" can be ordered as an alternative to the standard specification. They're called Design Pure Excellence and Design Pure Experience and each allows the user to achieve a high level of personalization.

Both of them can be selected independently or together, along with other packages, including the M Sport one. As a special finishing touch, even the key has a different, more stylish design.

The Design Pure Experience package includes brushed stainless steel underbody protection, new air intake bars in matt silver, Individual Exterior Line Aluminum satiated trim for the side windows and a matte chrome finish for the exhaust tailpipes.

Going inside you'll find a dark yet warm color scheme with Nappa leather trims (including extended features in Mocha/Black contrast stitching), interior trims in textured Fineline Pure wood and the instrument panel is fully leathered.

On the other hand, the Design Pure Excellence package includes body color painted protection elements and wheel arch surrounds, black kidney grille bars and T-Shaped bars for the outer air intake on the front bumper.

The interior has an elegant note using the same Exclusive Nappa leather trim that is now featuring Ivory White stitching, fine wood interior trims in American Oak and the door panels and instrument panels are fully leathered with Atlas Grey contrast stitching.

You can check both of them in our photo gallery.
