Volkswagen is turning the new Golf into a modern classic already, making it look not brand spanking new, but at home in your life. Their commercials for the MkVII have been clutter-free and lacking the technological aspect.
The latest ad is even more so, focusing on the people that drive the Golf. Featuring the hit single “People are People” by Depeche Mode, the video shows different cover versions of the song tailored to the people inside country, pop, kid’s songs, punk and blues... or something like that. At the very end, Dave Gaham himself turns up in the Golf!
The MkVII is a brand new Golf from the ground up. It’s build around a much lighter chassis and efficient engines, one of which comes with cylinder deactivation. The only problem we have is that even the base 1.2-liter 85 hp Golf is quite expensive compared to its rivals.
Also, the new Golf isn’t available in America, so what’s with the cowboy?!
