Last week, we brought you exclusive footage of the brand new Range Rover, the generation that should revolutionize the luxury SUV market. The MkIV Range Rover is all-new and much lighter after having shed its chassis in favor of an aluminum monocoque.
The new SUV boasts significant technological improvements, more efficient engines, unique character and the first diesel-hybird variant ever. Significant weight reductions will be seen thanks to an overall weight reduction of p to 420 kg (926 lbs) for some models.

Today, we bring you a video walkaround of the vehicle filmed by Shmee150 at the Paris Motor Show, one which you should definitely check out in HD. The model is more elegant and car-like at the front, where the shape has been softened and the “jewelry” is gone in favor of simple headlights.

Inside, it’s more of an evolution, meant to make current Range Rover customers feel right at home. Everything is still big and imposing, but new functions were added to bring the Range Rover into the modern age.

"The new Range Rover preserves the essential, unique character of the vehicle – that special blend of luxury, performance and unmatched all-terrain capability," said John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director. "However, its clean sheet design and revolutionary lightweight construction have enabled us to transform the experience for luxury vehicle customers, with a step change in comfort, refinement and handling."
