2013 Lexus LS Walkaround

Lexus wanted to let us know what they’ve learned from the Germans the past couple of years, and so they made the 2013 LS luxury sedan, which is oddly not all-new model, but a refresh of a six-year old car. But so many changes have been made to this model, from the safety systems to the F Sport package, that you’d hardly recognize it.
To make sure we understand what’s now on the 2013 LS, Lexus sent out Bill Camp from Lexus College to gibe us a video tour of the changes. Featured here is the brand new LS460 F Sport, which has a revised suspension setup, an 8-speed auto with paddle shifters, Brembo brakes and a body kit. Besides this, the range will also include the base LS460, the LS460L with an extended wheelbase and the LS600hL, which is a hybrid.

Under the bonnet of this car is Lexus’s own 4.6-liter V8 that comes with 386hp 367lb-ft and (497Nm)for the RWD model, or 360hp 347 lb-ft (470Nm) for the AWD versions.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
