The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, our latest test car - don’t worry, this looong name is worth pronouncing, as it brings Lambo’s Super Trofeo racer to the public roads. Oh and its default color is this Ferrari-defying Rosso Mars.
Don’t let yourself fooled by the huge aero elements though, the car is, in fact, closer to the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. But the motorsport version is also based on this, so the marketing scheme is not that outrageous.
Even in a city like Dubai, where each street has its own fleet of supercars, this extreme Gallardo draws attention like a magnet. A carbon fiber-treated magnet, that is.
Our tester wasn’t fitted with any of the motorsport options like the rollcage or complicated harness safety belts and we were thankful for this.
