Building on the revolutionary CRF450R, the 2013 Honda CRF450X takes things even further. Thanks to some new additions, the new trail bike will most likely stand tall against most other similar bikes, in terms of maneuverability and overall performance.
One of the most worthy features is the Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD), a special damper which helps the rider take faster turns with more confidence at both low and high speed.

The further from the center point the handlebars turn, the more damping it will offer, providing better stability in turns and in the straight lines. The HPSD also reduces fatigue, letting the rider focus more on driving.

The 2013 Honda CRF450X comes with a 449cc thumper engine, fueled by a flat-side carb with throttle position sensor for precise acceleration and a twin sump lubrication system. Dual radiators ensure cool operation and the gear-driven counter-balancer dampens the engine vibration.

Add in the Renthal handlebars, all-disc brakes and reliability proven in the Baja races, and you get one of the ultimate off-road machines. Prices starting at $8,440 (€6,642).
