If you feel that your kid finally has enough skills to master a real trail bike, but there's still a lot to learn until he or she will be ready for the big machines, maybe it's time for the 2013 Honda CRF100F.
This 99cc single-cylinder is capable to deliver enough punch for a thrilling ride, while at the same lacking the intimidation factor bigger bikes usually come with, for young riders. The smooth yet bullet-proof powerplant offers the neat 4-stroke character, while the young rider will be able to get acquainted with the secrets of shifting thanks to the heavy-duty easy-operation clutch and 5-speed gearbox.

The progressive linkage rear shock comes from Showa, so the 2013 Honda CRF100F will perform flawlessly on a variety of surfaces, smooth or bumpy. The kickstarter will also teach the future champion more about the trail rides, while the keyed ignition will make sure the young chaps will not be able to ride the 2013 Honda CRF100F without your knowledge.

The 2013 Honda CRF100F comes with drum brakes to tame the ride and weighs in at 170 lbs (77 kg). The price for this nifty dirt machine is $2,880 (€2,447).
