KTM unveiled the 2014 RC390 at the 2013 EICMA and you can now feat your eyes on this truly nifty piece of orange bike engineering.
Based on the 390 Duke platform as it was rumored months ago, the 2014 KTM RC390 is true sport bike. It retains the full nerve of the 390 Duke, delivering 43 hp from the 373cc single engine. No word on the gearing, but we can expect that KTM worked a bit on the transmission to make it more racey.

The rear of the 390 Duke was changed and a trellis subframe came in place for a stiffer and more aggressive, track-oriented geometry. The dual headlight looks sweet but it's a rather old trick. However, it goes pretty well with the edgy bodywork and the small, pointy beak.

On the styling side, it's nice to see the 2014 KTM RC390 retaining as much as possible from the RC8 machine. Performance is furthermore enhanced by the WP suspensions and the Bybre radial brakes, Bybre being a more consumer-oriented brand of Brembo's.

Add in cast wheels and an underbelly exhaust for a race-ready stance and better weight distribution and a priced rumored to be under the €6,000 ($8,110) mark and enjoy the sweet pics.
