If you missed last year's batch of 69 Chevrolet COPO Camaro factory drag-racing cars, you can still have one in 2013, as GM is preparing a few more of these quarter-mile record-setters.
But be sure to hurry up, because today is your last chance to apply for one of the 69 machines (by signing up on the COPO Camaro Mailing list at chevroletperformance.com) and check you account for the $86,000 starting price.
The 2013 production run brings a total of three V8 engines for the NHRA Stock Eliminator racer in you, meaning you can choose between the 325 HP 5.7-liter, the 375 HP 6.4-liter, or the 7.0-liter powerplants.
Chevy also made some updates for the 2013 model, including a "heritage" grille, revised interior package, dedicated racing wiring harness, revised front spring, new exterior graphics and a transmission cooler integrated with radiator. The new COPO Camaro can be ordered in five exterior colors and with a special Engine Collector's Package, which includes all three units listed above.
