BMW USA just opened up the online configurator for the 2013 X1, a model that’s making it to the US market after a very long wait. The sports activity vehicle made its debut at the New York Auto Show in April as the latest ultimate driving machine, and will arrive at dealerships this fall.
To make it to the US, the X1 has been slightly updated, with new exterior and interior touches. The North American market will only see two engines available, a 2.0-liter petrol and the range-topping straight-six.
To further differentiate the models, the X1 sDrive28i and xDrive28i models come as standard with Auto Start/Stop and ECO PRO mode, which help you further reduce the fuel consumption.
The X1 builder offers you the choice between two lines - xLine and Sport Line for the rear-wheel drive models. There’s also an M Sport package that will make the SAV stand out as more of a performance machine.
