This year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show was by far the most hectic event we’ve dealt with, but we expect Paris to be just as debut-rich when it starts next month. There are so many new models that are expected, and some of them are only whispers, rumors of the automotive world.
One such rumor is the fact that the new Audi A3 Sportsback, or A3 5-door hatchback, will bow at the end of September at the Audi stand in Paris. There is some credibility to this, as a prototype wearing thin disguise was only recently spotted testing, signaling an unveil is near.

An automaker usually only has to show the shape of an upcoming car at a major motor show, as the start of factory production comes later, in most cases half a year after. Judging by the state of the prototype, Audi is quite ready to show a five-door A3.

The range of Audi A3 models will also include a cabrio and a sedan model, the latter being ear-marked for China and the US.
