We’ve talked about an open-air version of the Citroen DS3 quite a few times before, but now it seems that we’re approaching the model’s release, with the DS3 Cabrio expected to come to the Paris Motor Show this fall.
The DS3 Cabrio is expected to use a roof setup similar to that of the Fiat 500, which means it will come with a roll-back fabric cloth roof. While the cloth will roll back, the roof bars and windows will keep their position.
While this doesn’t make it a real cabrio, it does require less body modifications, which means that the open-top DS3 shouldn’t be much heavier than the standard car.
The vehicle is expected to use the Airflow designation and will be more expensive than the hatchback model. Under the hood, customer will be able to choose between a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol unit with 150 hp and a 1.6-liter diesel offering 110 hp.
