2012 Toyota Camry Tops CarMD Reliability Survey

While Hyundai got named the most reliable manufacturer, the 2012 Toyota Camry achieved top spot for the most reliable car in the 2013 CarMD Vehicle Health Index.
The study is based on more than 151,000 specific repairs performed on model year 2003-2013 vehicles from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. Completing the top are the 2012 Nissan Altima, 2011 Toyota Corolla, 2011 Toyota Camry, 2011 Nissan Rogue, 2012 Nissan Rogue, 2012 Nissan Sentra, 2010 Hyundai Elantra, 2011 Nissan Sentra and 2012 Mazda 3.

After two years in a row of finishing second to Toyota, Hyundai managed to claim the top manufacturer spot for its low frequency of repairs this year. However, CarMD reports that both Hyundai and Toyota’s quality rating dropped a bit from 2012.
