2012 MV Agusta F4 RR Sold Out in the UK

What is claimed to be “the most advanced and powerful superbike in the world” - the 2012 MV Agusta F4 RR ‘Corsacorta’- has proven to be a hit among British motorcycle enthusiasts. Priced at £17,999, the first batch of the range-topping MV Agustas has already been sold out in the UK.

According to UK importers MotoGB, the next shipment is set to arrive around the 26th of July, and even this next batch is already heavily subscribed, although one F4 RR has been allocated as a press test machine.

“We knew that the RR version of the MV Agusta F4 would be popular but we had no idea just how quickly they would sell. Literally, as soon as that first batch came into our workshops for distribution to our dealers they were sold. We had a 50/50 split of red and white machines with both obviously proving equally popular!”
stated Steve Oliver of UK importers MotoGB.

“We are pushing the factory for more than our allocation of these premium exotic sports machines,” added Oliver. “So we’re hoping that we eventually get enough to satisfy the incredible demand for this amazing machine.”

The 2012 F4 RR comes in two color schemes, namely pastel red/white and matt pearl white, both with special graphics, unique to the model.

At the heart of the bike we find the new 4-cylinder short stroke engine with radial valve producing 201 hp at 13,400 rpm, a completely homologated unit including an exhaust system complete with the catalytic converter. Light chassis, Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes are just a few of the bike’s other highlights.

Those of you who don't get to buy the bike, will get to see the it in the flesh at the forthcoming EICMA show in Milan this November.
