The Lamborghini Gallardo just keeps receiving more and more tuning goodies, with the latest package of this king being a racing-destined one that comes from Reiter Engineering. We are talking about the 2012 version of the tuner’s Gallardo GT3 race car, the LP600+. For this year, the company has brought multiple fresh developments, such as a Holinger transmission that uses less parts and is lighter, as well as a number of aerodynamic tweaks, such as a larger front splitter.
The Gallardo racer also gets an AP Racing braking system, while the 5.2-liter V10 unit delivers the same 600 hp at 8,000 rpm. The vehicle is destined for endurance racing and the engineers are now working to develop a new suspension that should offer some extra grip while reducing tire wear.
Reiter Engineering’s Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3 is set to make its track debut at the 24-hours of Dubai and the 12-hours of Abu Dhabi.
