Ford has managed to put sliding doors on a chassis borrowed from the Fiesta to create a very interesting little MPV. However, this isn’t your typical Korean or Japanese hatch, because a lot of thought and effort has gone into creating exciting colors and features.
The car that made its motor show debut in Geneva today might be an MPV, but it’s only 110 mm longer than a Fiesta, so it’s still smaller than most C-segment hatchbacks. But there still should be enough room for five people.
The engine range includes six units for the European market. This also includes the new 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost with either 100 PS or 120 PS. There is also an un-turbocharged 1.4-liter Duratec with 90 PS or a 1.6 Duratec with 105 PS. These engines actually overlap, indicating there is a price difference if you want EcoBoost.
The two diesels you can choose from are the 95 PS 1.6 TDCi that returns 40 lt/100km combined and the 1.5-liter less powerful with 75 PS.
