Yesterday, we brought you news of the mighty Audi R8 LMS customer racer making it across the pond to meet Grand-Am regulations next year. Now, we bring another hardcore car wearing the four-ring badge, the five-cylinder TT-RS that’s now ready for sale, with prices starting at €180,000, which is just over a cool quarter million dollars.
We’ve already seen it in action at the hands of of Audi drivers at the recent Nurburgring 24 Hours, where it took a class win in the SP4T class, but now customers from across the world will be able to enjoy the turbocharged beast on the track.

To save weight, the TT-RS actually dropped the heavy four-wheel drive in favor of a system similar to that on the base TT: front wheel drive. Fortunately, no cylinders have been lobbed off the engine, so this still produces about 350 horsepower.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
