2011 Salon Prive Preview

In the automotive world, all eyes are currently on the 2010 Paris Auto Show. However, we’d like to take a little time to present you a future show, just before the French event debuts.

We are talking about the 2011 edition of the posh Salon Prive. The exclusive supercar event and Concours d’Elegance will relocate to the spectacular 200-acre Syon Park site, the London home of the Duke of Northumberland. In addition to that, the event will move forward, to 22-24 June, one month earlier than its traditional July slot.

“We’re thrilled with the success of Salon Prive to date and remain committed to expanding and developing the brand, but without losing the fundamental exclusivity and intimacy that has made it so popular and so well established,”
said Salon Prive co-founder, David Bagley.

“Given the popularity of the event, it was inevitable that at some point our requirements for tickets, display and hospitality space would exceed what the Hurlingham Club could offer.  We must therefore relocate to keep up with demand and Syon Park gives us the perfect setting for an expanded event in 2011. We would like to thank the Hurlingham Club for being a wonderful partner to the event and we now look forward to an exciting relationship with Syon Park,”
he added.

The fifth edition of the event, which took place between 21-23 July 2010 was the most successful yet. The event reached its capacity of 1,200 daily public tickets two weeks before it debuted and attracted a record number of 24 top brands, ranging from supercars to jewelery, boats and televisions.

For 2011, the number of daily public tickets will be increased to 2,000 to meet demand. Tickets will go on sale in November.
