After the very limited number of photos showing the new Citroen C4 presented by the French manufacturer back in June, when the details of the model were released, it's time to have a more up close and personal look at the redefined C4, in this new gallery released this week.

The new C4 brings to the market the best of both the old version and whatever the French thought the car needs to be more successful. Bringing optimized aerodynamics, chrome detailing and dynamic headlight styling, the new C4 comes as a natural evolution of its predecessor.

The current generation C4 has been surpassed in terms of dimensions by the new model. The new car is 5cm longer, 2cm wider and 3cm taller than the present generation, being at the same time less radical in design that the one which preceded it.

The new C4 is powered by a range of engine not yet revealed, but previewed as being micro-hybrid e-HDi powertrains. Some of the units present in the model will benefit from Stop & Start systems which will allow it to bring CO2 emission levels down to 109 g/km at launch and 99 g/km later on.

The new C4 will come equipped with Electronic Gearbox System (EGS), hill start assist, automatic electric parking brake, Lane Departure Warning System, Xenon dual-function directional headlamps, blind-spot monitoring system, cornering light function, cruise control and speed-limiter with road speed memory settings.

The new C4 will be presented at the Paris Auto Show this October, where an autoevolution team will be sent to take snapshots of it and other auto goodies to be shown.
