The British division of Volvo Cars today unveiled pricing for the 2010 C70, a model presented for the first time to its fans at the Frankfurt Auto Show. There will be three trims available, S, SE and SE Lux, and four engine versions, two diesels and two petrols. Pricing for the C70 range starts at 25,995 British pounds ($41,500) for the 2.0D S.
Specifically, the S version comes equipped with Volvo's WHIPS (Whiplash Protection System), plus ECC (Electronic Climate Control), 16-inch Castula alloy wheels, front fog lights, power windows, information centre, cruise control, floor mats and Performance Sound Audio System.
The SE comes with all the aforementioned features but also adds 17-inch Sirona alloy wheels, auto-folding power door mirrors with ground lights and rear park assist. Aluminium trim, Bluetooth hands-free system, auto-dimming rear view mirror and High Performance Sound Audio System are also available.
Last but not least, the SE Lux trim comprises Leather-faced upholstery, power driver's seat and active bending lights with headlamp cleaning system.
"The new C70 has a clearer, more pronounced face. The car's natural elegance has been modernised so it blends seamlessly with the most up-to-date, the most sophisticated backdrops," says Fedde Talsma, Exterior Chief Designer at Volvo Cars.
"We've focused the new interior features around the driver to give the owner a stronger perception of being rewarded behind the wheel. The seats are upholstered in a new type of soft hide and there is even better detail finish to make driving a more pleasurable experience than ever before."
