2010 Pirelli Calendar Premiered in London

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini gave a helping hand to Pirelli at the global premiere of the Pirelli Calendar. A Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce and two Gallardos - an LP 560-4 Spyder and the latest limited edition, rear-wheel drive LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni – were used for transporting celebs at the London event.

The three cars chauffeured English model and socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, and singer James Blunt and his companion, to name a few. For the occasion, all three Lamborghinis sported a special feature: hidden LED lights which, positioned under the wheel arches, illuminated the tires as an homage for Pirelli.

In the 30 images that scan the months of 2010, American photographer Terry Richardson tried “to return to the natural, authentic atmospheres and images of the 60s and 70s where naturalness prevails over technique”.

The collector’s item calendar was shot in Brazil and, Pirelli says, "portrays a woman who is captivating because she is natural, a woman who plays with stereotypes in order to undo them, and who makes irony the only veil that covers her."

The girls staring in the calendar include British models Lily Cole, Rosie Huntinton-Whitely and Daisy Lowe. Orlando Bloom's girlfriend and Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, alongside other international models, such as Abbey Lee Kershaw, Eniko Mihalik, Marloes Horst, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Gracie Carvalho and Ana Beatriz Barros.

Lamborghini and Pirelli’s partnership extends to motorsport. Pirelli is the only official supplier of both the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo one-make series and of the Lamborghini Academy, which organizes Lamborghini driving courses on prestigious international racetracks.
