2010 Kia Soul Goes on Sale in Miami

South Korean automaker Kia has just launched the new 2010 Soul in Miami, following the public unveiling at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. The range comes with a choice of four trims, as it follows: Soul, Soul+, Soul! and Soul sport. Pricing starts at $13,300 for the base five-door trim and goes up to $18,600 with all options included.

There are two engine configurations available, as it follows: a 1.6-liter developing 122 horsepower and 115 pound-feet of torque plus a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit producing 142 horsepower and 137 pond-feet of torque. The latter engine is available with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission.

The 2010 Kia Soul provides an impressive range of standard safety features, including front seat active headrests, dual front advanced airbags, front seat-mounted and full-length side curtain airbags, Antilock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist System (BAS) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Interiors are offering a high number of standard features as well, such as cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, dual 12-volt power outlets and tweeter speakers for the Soul+ variant. The Soul Sport adds an Audio Upgrade Package enhances the sound with center speaker, subwoofer, 315-watt external amplifier and speaker lights.
