As we reported, the 2010 Hyundai Equus, set to debut at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show, was officially unveiled for the Korean press two days ago. The Equus appears to be the talk of the day, as interest in the first Korean made limousine mounts by the hour. The interior of the car was further detailed today by hyundai-blog.com and you can now get a glimpse into the comfort of this $96,000 vehicle.
As you would expect from a car of its class, designers cut no corners on the 2010 Equus interior. Leather is the highlight of the car. You can find it on the seats as well as on the central dash board that incorporates a large multifunction system.
The touch screen that allows you to use this system is positioned in between the elongated vertical air vents. The center console, side door panels and the dash board all feature what seems to be wood inserts.
The sound ambiance of the Equus is insured by a 17-speaker 500-watt Lexicon sound system. But don't worry, even if you get caught in the wake of the moment and start dancing behind the wheel, there are no less than nine airbags looking over the well being of your body.
As you slowly slide away to the edge of the road, sound warnings from the Lane Departure Warning System will try to warn you of the problem. If you by any chance miss it, Pre-Safe seatbelt and the Vehicle Stability Management II systems are also in place to help any driver who gets sidetracked.
It's not much to go on, but we are sure Hyundai will keep on leaking "unintentionally" details of the upcoming limo. Until then, below are some photos that might keep you busy for a little while.
