2010 Honda Crosstour Interior Pics Revealed

Honda has already presented the 2010 Crosstour in all its glory but the company hasn't revealed photos showing the interior of the updated model. Today, the automaker rolled out a bunch of photos giving us a glimpse into how the interior will look like, emphasizing that the Crosstour is indeed the practical crossover utility vehicle one would expect from this particular model.

The car, which is expected to go on sale this fall, will be offered with a bolder front grille, wedge-shaped C-pillars and an aggressive rear stance. The aggressive looking design is also pointed out by the roofline, which narrows smoothly into the rear of the vehicle.

"Our concept is to broaden the appeal of the Accord line-up by leveraging traditional Accord strengths of fun-to-drive performance and handling while also adapting to dramatic shifts in the light truck marketplace," said Erik Berkman, vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

"The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour accomplishes that by offering a modern interpretation of a CUV while integrating the refinement and efficiency of a premium sedan."

"We know SUV buyers like the commanding view of the road that comes with a high eye-point and like the comforts of living with an SUV," said Berkman. "This vehicle meets the needs of buyers looking for those attributes yet at the same time want an image that is different from a conventional SUV."

There are no details regarding the engines to be fitted on the 2010 Crosstour but more information is likely to surface soon as we get closer to the official launch date.
