2010 Abu Dhabi GP Sold Out

For the second time in a row, the season finale in Abu Dhabi will take place in front of full grandstands. As confirmed by the organizers of the race earlier this week, the entire Abu Dhabi weekend is already sold out, meaning no tickets are now available for action in any of the 4 days – starting from the autograph sessions on Thursday and ending with the race on Sunday.

Needless to say, alongside the attractive packages set up by the Abu Dhabi officials, the fact that no less than 4 drivers are fighting for the 2010 title in the last round is reason enough for everyone to choose the Yas Marina Circuit way this weekend.

We are delighted to have sold out all our tickets for the second year running. Our inaugural event last year also sold out, and we worked hard to create an attractive package which we believe will result in a fantastic experience for our fans,” said the track's chief executive officer Richard Cregan.

It's unprecedented to have four drivers in contention for the drivers' title in the final race. I think it is a very fitting end to what has been an amazing F1 season. We are very proud here in Abu Dhabi to be staging the race and to know that we will see the crowning of the 2010 world champion.”

To make things even better, the weather forecast for this weekend suggests mild temperatures and, more importantly, no rain at all.

Although there are still 4 drivers in the running for the world title this year, all eyes will in fact be on the two Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, as well as current leader of the overall classification Fernando Alonso. Only 15 points separate the 3 drivers on top of the classification, which means anything can happen this next weekend. One thing's for sure: a lot of fans will be there to enjoy the post-race celebration.
