Who wouldn't want a fourth-generation Toyota Supra to play with? Oh, and we need to add that the said Japanese machine has been dialed all the way to 1,000 horsepower. Well, we might have an answer to this question, which involves the driver of the Nissan GT-R in the piece of footage below.
You see, Godzilla duked it out with the Mk IV Supra, with the two racing on an airfield in Germany. And while a stock example of the R35 wouldn't have stood a chance against the Toyota, the GT-R we have here packs almost three times the factory power, with its output sitting at 1,500 hp.

The two velocity monsters got together as part of a German drag racing event that was held on an airfield in Lahr. The speeding gathering saw participants engaging in a one-kilometer race, but didn't include a standing starts. Instead, the hostilities kicked off at 50 kph (31 mph).

Fortunately, the piece of footage that documents the battle, which awaits you at the bottom of the page, also includes the terminal velocity of the toys and we can tell you that the difference between the two Japanese machines is massive.

Supra fans might get mixed feelings about this video. On the one hand, the clip also shows the Toyota duking it out with plenty of others cars - its competitors involve 996 Porsches, a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and a Mercedes-AMG E63. So this is an awesome occasion to see a high-horsepower fourth-gen model doing its thing in a straight line (here's an Mk IV Supra with a similar output playing on the Nurburgring).

On the other hand, the Japanese beast doesn't exactly showcase its domination, as you'll get to notice.

As for the aural side of the battles we have here, we're inviting you to turn up the volume and be the judge of the competition.
