Back in August we came across what is probably the most amazing and most likely the most powerful Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG on the planet.
Today we learned that that very same car might also be the fastest street-legal Mercedes-Benz model in the world.

Originally, the CLK 63 AMG depicted in the footage bellow wasn't exactly a slouch. Keep in mind that the stock model was using a naturally-aspirated, 6.2 liter V8 with no less than 507 hp and 630 Nm (465 lb ft) of torque.

Those numbers were enough to give it a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 4.3 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

After months of work on the car by the peeps from Weistec Engineering, the model now sports a three-liter twin-screw supercharger and a host of other Weistec goodies, which help it develop no less than... wait for it... 1012 hp and 1,356 Nm (1,000 lb ft) of torque at the wheels!

Equipped with street-legal drag radials and a friggin' ice box for the rear differential, this CLK 63 AMG just hit the quarter mile in 9.75 seconds at a staggering 244 km/h (152 mph) while starting on the two rear wheels. Excuse us while we pick up our jaws from the floor.
