1,000 HP Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Huracan by AMS Performance Screams on the Dyno

The latest example of this kind comes from AMS Performance. Now, you might know this team for their outstanding Nissan GT-R results, as they're currently working to take back their Godzilla quarter mile record. The contraption they're using in the process, namely the Alpha G GT-R, could very well pack 3,000 hp and now that it's had its shakedown, we can't wait to see it in record-breaking action.

However, AMS Performance has officially announced its Huracan market entry earlier this week. For now, the developer is releasing a reasonable Alpha 10 package. This means the TT nature of the kit will take the Huracan from its naturally aspirated 602 hp rating to the land of 1,000 ponnies.

We're not ironic when mentioning this as being a reasonable output, one that is aimed at also maintaining the rather high streetability factor of the V10 Lambo. For instance, the most extreme Huracan to date, which comes from Underground Racing, is currently on its way to hitting the 2,000 hp mark.

Returning to the Alpha 10 Huracan, the aftermarket developer behind it has released a video that shows the boosted Sant'Agata Bolognese machine performing its dyno break-in runs.

You'll find the clip below, complete with the kind of soundtrack that might shatter your "turbo engines have a lousy soundtrack" perception. And remember, this is just the beginning of the high-octane adventure.

Knowing AMS Performance, it's hard to believe this stunt won't eventually lead to the tuner getting involved in the Huracan quarter mile world record battle and we can't wait for the boost to be dialed up.
