"100 Years of Audi" Package for European Models

Automakers across the globe find all kind of ways to celebrate their anniversaries, with most of them launching special edition cars boasting exclusive features and equipment. Audi decided to honor its 100th anniversary a bit differently and today announced the availability of the so-called "100 Years of Audi" package that adds multiple new features to most of its models sold in Europe.

Specifically, the kit is compatible with Audi A3 and A3 Cabriolet, A4, A6, TT, A5 Coupe, Q5 and Q7 and include special equipment that represent a consumer saving of up to 40 percent, according to a release by Audi.

The whole package actually comprises two smaller upgrades, aimed at styling and innovation, as the German manufacturer explained. The first one brings multiple enhancements such as sports seats, three-spoke leather steering wheel and exclusive alloy wheels while the latter adds xenon headlights, high-beam assist, LED daytime running lights and automatically dimming mirrors in both the exterior and the interior.

Other feature highlights include Daytona pear exterior color, tinted moonroof and new door sill design similar to the 16-cylinder Type C racing car.

As for the prices, they start at 2,400 euros and go as high as 6,750 euro for the style package while the innovation upgrade ranges between 1,700 euro and 2,700 euro.

There are no official photos for the time being but a single teaser picture which is probably intended to give us a hint into how the upgraded cars will look like. However, only a little can be spotted in this image so we're still waiting for some new photos in the near future.
