The Yamaha Tracer 900 was a sport-touring motorcycle that debuted in 2015 and continued production until the present (2023). The bike was known as the MT-09 Tracer in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and South America, the FJ-09 in North America, and the Tracer 900 in other countries.

The bike was announced in 2014 as a version based on the MT-09 sports model driven by an 850cc three-cylinder engine. The Tracer 900 was released in the European market in March 2015.

In 2018, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Yamaha Tracer 900, a sport-touring motorcycle that delivered excellent performance with its three-cylinder engine and lightweight aluminum chassis.

The bike was built around a diamond-shaped aluminum frame with a 41 mm preload and rebound-adjustable telescopic fork on the front, offering 137 mm of travel and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear with 130 mm of travel, providing excellent handling capabilities.

The bike's 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 298 mm brake discs on the front and a 245 mm brake disc on the rear. The discs were tied to hydraulic calipers and delivered excellent braking performance.

In the performance department, the 2018 Yamaha Tracer 900 had its soul brought to life by an 847cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 114 hp at 10,000 rpm and 88 Nm (64 lb-ft) torque at 8,500 rpm.
