R1 is ready to launch after redesigning the Genesis engine to create a more compact engine by lifting the transaxle input shaft and allowing the transaxle output shaft to be located below it. This Yamaha R1-Z 250 is packed full of punch running it's liquid cooled, two strokes, parallel twin cylinder engine. The fuel is driven to the engine by the four 40 mm Keihin CV carburetors. Twin front disc with disc also fitted to the rear and K2 Tec exhaust system.
