VELOCETTE VICEROY (1960-1964)

Velocette introduced the Viceroy in 1960. It was a very unusual 250cc scooter, with a very compact engine which was sitting in front. With electric start, a very low center of gravity, 15HP and a cruising speed of 65mph, this scooter could have been a success for the company, but the actual sales proved the opposite.
