The 2002 MY Rieju Motors Spike 50 is mainly addressed for the younger and less-experienced among riders, who want an agile and light supermotard to get acquainted with this type of machines. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Also, it comes standard with a non-adjustable upside-down front fork, a monoshock rear suspension and a disc-based braking system.
