The Spanish engineers from Rieju Motors have launched an entry-level, agile and light supermotard in the embodiment of the 2007 MY SMX 50, that mainly addresses riders who are new to the supermoto world, or even new to the motorcycling world all together. It sports a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 50cc, single cylinder lump mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Enhanced maneuverability is ensured by the high-end, 36mm Paioli telescopic fork and the rear monoshock, while track-times are reduced thanks to its braking system, composed of a 260mm front and a 200 mm rear disc brakes.
