The 2004 MY Rieju Motors SMX 50 sports a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 50cc, single cylinder lump mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It mainly addresses younger and less-experienced riders who want a light and agile machine to get accustomed to supermotards. In addition, it comes with a 36mm Paioli telescopic fork, a rear monoshock, a 21" front and 18" rear wheel, plus a braking system composed of a 260mm/200mm front/rear brake discs.
