The 2015 MY Piaggio Typhoon 50 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump mated to a continuously variable transmission, and can produce 5 horsepower and 4 Nm of torque. It is ideal for novice and young riders, thanks to its small displacement, and boasts one of the best gas mileages in its class, of 144 mph, thanks to its rather large, 1.9 gallons fuel tank. In addition, it comes standard with 14" alloy wheels, which not only reduce weight and increase agility, but also make this two-wheeler more stable. In addition, it has an under-seat storage compartment that can house a full size helmet.
