The 1978 MY Laverda 500 Zeta sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 497cc, parallel twin cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 37 horsepower at 8500 rpm. It is a powerful yet agile half-liter naked roadster, that is equally suited for fast passes on the motorway, as well as weekend leisure rides through the countryside or daily commuting to and from work. It boasts increased comfort thanks to its Marzocchi suspension package and increased safety due to the Brembo braking discs.
