The 2013 CTX1300 is another bike Honda offers to those in search of a machine with solid GoldWing DNA, but with a smaller displacement and a more affordable price. Honda loaded its longitudinal crankshaft 4V engine in the 2014 CTX1300 and reinterpreted the F6B generic design cues into a more futuristic way, blending in both modern and old-school lines.
The resulting bike is as a nifty middleweight tourer which retains the massive, commanding F6B-inspired looks but adds a completely new direction, possibly showing the direction Honda plans to follows in the future. Powerful and with huge road worthiness, the 2013 CTX1300 is still easy to master and exceptionally fun to ride.
