The 2003 MY Gas Gas SM 125 has fittings such as a race-inspired livery, a single seat, wide handlebars, laced wheels, an under-seat exhaust system, a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork coupled to an Ohlins monoshock with a progressive linkage in the rear, front and rear disc brakes and a steel frame with an aluminium swingarm.
In the engine department it is powered by a two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can produce a claimed 37 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque.
