The 2001 MY Gas Gas EC 300 boasts a maximum power output of 50 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque from its liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 297cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.
In addition, it has been fitted with a race-grade Ohlins monoshock with a progressive linkage as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes with Nissin calipers, laced wheels with knobby tires mounted on them, a single seat, a race-like livery, a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork and a deltabox-type cromoly frame with an aluminium swingarm.
