The Spanish engineers from Gas Gas have designed the 2010 MY EC 125 as an entry-level off-road machine both for the novice among riders, as well as the more seasoned ones that want a light and agile machine for off-road racing. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can produce 37 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque.
It has also been fitted with features such as laced wheels with knobby-tires mounted on them, a blacked-out, deltabox-type frame with an aluminium swingarm, a race-grade, Ohlins rear monoshock with progressive linkage, a 45mm Marzocchi telescopic front fork, front and rear disc brakes, an analogue intrument cluster and a race-inspired livery.
