BENELLI Tre-K 1130 Amazonas (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Benelli Tre-K 1130 was a motorcycle manufactured by Benelli in 2006 and continued production until 2015. The bike was structurally derived from the Tornado Naked Tre (TNT) and was set in motion by the same three-cylinder engine.

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli Tre-K 1130 Amazonas, a more off-road-oriented base model version. The Amazonas version debuted in 2007 and was created for those riders who wanted to tackle any terrain possible.

The 2007 Benelli Tre-K 1130 Amazonas offered the same power characteristics as the standard model. It was powered by a 1,130cc four-stroke three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, boasting 123 hp with maximum strength at 9,000 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque at 6,250 rpm.

The power generated by the engine was redirected to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox controlled by a wet multi-disc clutch, launching the motorcycle to a maximum speed of 224 kph (139 mph).

In the visual department, the bike's aesthetic was characterized by standard features, like a dual headlight system, small side fairings, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with a pillion grab rail, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler mounted under the seat, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

The bike's frame was designed to handle every shock in any situation, the new position of the radiator allowed high thermal exchanges at low speed and off-road use, and the rear end was designed to guarantee the best stability, comfortability, and suspension reaction.
