BENELLI TNT R160 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Benelli TNT was a motorcycle derived from the Tornado Tre 900. It was manufactured from 2004 to 2016, and its TNT designation was an acronym for "Tornado Naked Tre." Tornado came from its engine and frame derived from its faired sibling, Naked because of its lack of fairings, and Tre from the three-cylinder engine.

In 2010, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli TNT R160, the pinnacle of Benelli's naked line of motorcycles, boasting the most power in the TNT class and featuring several carbon fiber parts.

Visually, the motorcycle had standard features, such as a fork-mounted headlight with a small wind deflector on top, a tow-piece dual seat, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler placed under the seat, and five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

Regarding power, the 2010 Benelli TNT R160 had its heartbeat set by a 1,130cc liquid-cooled four-stroke three-cylinder engine fed by a fuel injection system, boasting 158 hp with maximum strength at 10,200 rpm and 121 Nm (89 lb-ft) torque at 8,400 rpm.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a fully adjustable 50 mm inverted telescopic fork with 120 mm travel on the front end and a fully adjustable shock absorber with 120 mm of travel on the rear.

As for the stopping power, the motorcycle's wheels were fitted with two 320 mm discs on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear. The front ones were clamped by four-piston calipers, and the rear was squeezed by a dual-piston caliper.
